Who We Are

A Great Life Services, Inc. (AGLS) provides services as Mental Health Counseling to a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual community, using competent professionals who represent the communities they serve. It offers mental health assessments, individual and family therapy, parenting classes, domestic violence and anger management therapy along with the behavioral analytical approach.

A Great Life Services, Inc. (AGLS) provides among other services Target Case Management (TCM) to families and clients who are in need of a specific service.  The purpose of TCM is to assist child, adolescent and adult members in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services. The primary goal of TCM is to optimize the functioning of members who have complex needs by coordinating the provision of quality treatment and support services in the most efficient and effective manner. TCM services include working with the member and the member’s natural support system to develop and implement the member’s service plan and Tx Plan. They also include follow-up to determine the status of the member’s services, and the effectiveness of activities related to the successful implementation of the Tx Plan toward enhancing the member’s inclusion in the community. These services are provided in the community where the person resides or is temporary staying. Services can be providing at school where the child attends in order to monitor quality of care.

A Great Life Services, Inc. (AGLS) provides Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (PSR) to teenagers or adults who services are intended to restore a recipient’s skills and abilities essential for independent living and has lost those skills due to a mental health condition. Activities include: development and maintenance of necessary daily living skills; food planning and preparation; money management; maintenance of the living environment; and training in appropriate use of community services. This service combines daily medication use, independent living and social skills training, housing services, prevocational and transitional employment rehabilitation training, social support, and network enhancement to recipients and their families. These services are designed to assist the recipient to eliminate or compensate for functional deficits and interpersonal and environmental barriers created by their disabilities, and to restore social skills for independent living and effective life management. This activity differs from counseling and therapy in that it concentrates less upon the amelioration of symptoms and more upon restoring functional capabilities. The service may also be used to facilitate cognitive and socialization skills necessary for functioning in a work environment, focusing on maximum recovery and independence. It includes work readiness assessment, job development on behalf of the recipient, job matching, on the job training, and job support. Psychosocial rehabilitation services may be provided in a facility, home, or community setting.
